Once you’ve had a play around with InDepartures.com you’ll soon realise that it’s actually pretty simple to navigate, add tips and rate amenities.
If you’re new to our platform and have recently created your profile, this guide is designed to assist you in navigating the process of adding tips and ratings. By following these steps, you’ll be well-equipped to contribute to our community and enhance the travel experiences of fellow airport-goers.

Terminal Ratings
Adding Tips & Ratings Individually
There are two ways to add ratings and tips to an airport terminals amenities. The first way allows you to rate and leave an optional tip about a single amenity. From this page you can also see other members tips if they’ve submitted one.
1. Find your airport
Firstly, navigate to the airport you experiences and click on it.
2. Find your terminal
Once on the Airports Page you will see the airports terminals, click on the terminal that you experienced. Now you’ll be on the airports terminal page.
3. Pick your amenity
From here the default tab is Ratings, you can rate and add tips for the main aspects of the terminal here.
On desktop, if you hover over the ratings you’ll see a preview of the latest tip that has been left for that amenity.
If you click on a particular amenity, for example “Public WiFi” you’ll land the amenities page.
4. Rate your airport amenity
From the amenity page you can submit a rating by clicking on the rating gauge (from 1 to 10) and also leave a helpful comment or tip for other airport travellers.
You get 1 Reward Point for a rating and 6 for a tip. Reward Points are used to enter giveaways and to access airport offers.
Adding Multiple Tips & Ratings
If you want to rate and add tips for multiple amenities in one go, you can use our “Rate Airport” button to submit them in one go.
1. Click on the “Rate Airport” button
You’ll find a “Rate Airport” button on the airport page and on the specific terminal pages too. If you click from the airport page, you need to use the drop down the specify which terminal you are rating before you can add your ratings and tips.
If you click on “Rate Airport” from the terminal page it will default to the terminal you are currently viewing and you can go ahead and add your tips and ratings.
2. Submitting you tips and ratings
To start adding ratings, simply click the check box on the left of the amenity to activate the particular amenity such as “Baggage Claim”, “Security”, “Passport Control”, click your rating and fill in a tip.
You can submit these individual by clicking on “Submit” to the right of the amenity.

1. Navigate to an amenity
From the terminal page, if they are available (have had an amenity added to In Departures.com) you can click on various amenity categories such as “Food & Drink”, “Hotels”, “Shopping” etc.
2. View the amenity page
From here you can click on an amenity to view the amenities page.
You have the opportunity to add your comment or tip at the bottom.
You also have the option to suggest an edit to the “About” information for that amenity or you can help improve the location information (these updates are moderated).
