"The airport currently doesn't have shower facilities. You can find showers at Radisson Blue Hotel at the airport. Location in Terminal 2 they offer both shower and change service. "

"You can take a train from Manchester but if you leave anywhere further away it's an expensive cab ride. For example, £40 to £50 for a 25 minute journey. The taxi costs more than the flight!"

"You can catch Ubers from Manchester airport but make sure you check the map in the Uber app for the pick up location. These can sometimes be a little tricky. They tend to be in car parks, the ground floor of a multi story car park."
