Luton Airport - Terminal - Services

"This will be dependent on airline. I flew with Wizzair from Luton on my latest trip and boarding was very smooth. It started about 30 minutes before the departure time and we took off perhaps 10 minutes late. Not much waiting around, the staff were helpful and I got to my seat quickly."

"It's a small airport and most (possibly all) the gates are within a reasonably short walking distance. Gate times are sometimes not posted until 30-45 minutes before the departure time (mine was 45 mins before) and it's still comfortable to get to the gate in plenty of time for boarding."

"I used My Lounge, and I was lucky to get a seat with a plug-in socket. Most of the tables appeared not to have plug-ins. The general areas / cafes are not ideal for working."

"There is free airport wifi, but logging in is a pain, and it's pretty weak."

"I used "My Lounge" using a Dragon Pass. Definitely book ahead if you want a space here. It was fully booked when I arrived. I put my name on the waiting list, and they said it would be 2 hours until a space would come up, but I got one after 5 minutes. The food is a bit limited compared to other lounges I've used. "

"No complaints here. I used the shops, toilets, general seating areas etc, everything was reasonably clean."

"There aren't many charging points. Around Gate 17 looks like the best bet. There are a couple of waiting rooms there that have plug-in charging points (for UK plugs, not USB sockets). They're not right next to chairs though."

"Note that if you get the train to Luton Airport Parkway rail station, you are not at the airport yet. You need to then take the shuttle train from there to the airport station, which is an extra cost. You can tap in on your card as it's part of TFL system. Once you arrive at Luton Airport station, you are right near check in and departures."

"Looks like plenty of lifts, ramps, disabled toilets etc. Drawback maybe limited space in some restaurants and shops."
