Upon arriving at Terminal 1 in Porto, you’ll find several convenient transport options to reach the city center. The Metro do Porto offers a direct line every 20 minutes for just two euros, taking approximately 30 minutes to downtown. Taxis are available at a designated pick-up point and operate on a fare meter; avoid any unsolicited offers for rides. Additionally, rideshare services like Uber and BOLT are accessible, and there are buses running 24/7 that connect to various parts of Porto. Crowdsourced tips for Arrival Transit at Porto Airport - Terminal 1
Very easy - we got the Metro straight from the airport to the city centre.
There are several options to get from and to the OPO airport. The most practical is the taxi(they use a fare meter) with a specific pick-up point (ignore if someone offers a cab at any other place when you arrive). You can also use UBER and BOLT apps. There is also an excellent subway/tram called Metro do Porto, every 20 minutes, taking 30 minutes to downtown Porto, that costs only two euros. You can use your contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay (each passenger needs to use a different card/Apple Pay/Google Pay). There are also buses that connect to the airport 24h/7/365. For the metro and buses, you can use Google Maps to check the times.
